More about this plant

David Austin English roses combine the full petalled form and the old rose, fruity, tea, myrrh and musk fragrances of old garden roses with the wider colour range and repeat flowering habit of modern roses, and are selected for health, reliability and vigour. Shrub forms run from about 2 feet for the small varieties to 5 feet and more for the largest, with climbing forms reaching 8 to 10 feet or more. Their graceful shrubby habit suits mixed borders, large containers, rose gardens and hedges. Like all roses they want a full day of sun, at least six to eight hours, and loose, organically rich, well drained soil, with late winter pruning and regular deadheading.

  • Full Sun
  • Grows to 5 ft tall and 6 ft wide
  • Blooms in spring, summer, fall
  • Hardy in USDA zones 5-9
  • Deciduous foliage
