More about this plant
Sorbet XP Red has an excellent red color with staying power and blooms on the late side of the series. Sorbet XP violas cover the soil at flowering with more blooms per plant and less stretch, stay compact in heat and cold, and overwinter well, on mounded plants 6 to 8 inches tall and wide. Horned violets grow best in humus-rich, moist, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. They bloom through cool weather and slow down in summer heat; deadheading encourages new buds.
- Full Sun
- Grows to 0.7 ft tall and 1 ft wide
- Blooms in spring, summer, fall
- Hardy in USDA zones 6-11
- Evergreen foliage
