More about this plant
Penny Deep Blue has dark blue blooms with the vigor expected of hybrid violas, on compact plants for full sun to part shade. Penny violas are a compact, uniform landscape series with good heat tolerance and a vigorous root system that helps them overwinter well. Horned violets grow best in humus-rich, moist, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. They bloom through cool weather and slow down in summer heat; deadheading encourages new buds.
