More about this plant
Hollywood juniper is an erect, irregularly twisted evergreen reaching 15 to 30 feet tall and 10 to 15 feet wide, its stems contorted with open gaps so the plant reads as a living piece of sculpture. The vivid bluish green foliage is almost entirely scale like, held in tufted opposite pairs in four ranks. It grows in full sun in moist, well drained soil across the full pH range and tolerates drought, air pollution and salt while being seldom browsed by deer. Use it as a sculptural specimen, an accent or an informal screen.
