More about this plant
A narrow ginkgo selection carrying a very slender pyramidal crown, useful where a full sized ginkgo would be too broad. The fan shaped emerald green leaves are 2 to 3 inches long, alternate and clustered in threes to fives on short spur shoots, and turn brilliant golden yellow in fall before dropping almost all at once. Plant it in full sun in clay, loam or sand with good drainage; it accepts acid through alkaline soils and tolerates heat, drought, salt, pollution and urban conditions. It suits a street planting, a narrow walkway or a formal vertical accent.
- Full Sun
- Grows to 70 ft tall and 40 ft wide
- Hardy in USDA zones 3-9
- Deciduous foliage
