Annual Bedding Plants for Every Season
What is an Annual plant?
Annual Plants live for two seasons: Spring through Summer or Fall through Winter. Annuals provide continuous color throughout their seasons, making them desirable for high visibility landscaping beds and containers.
Our Spring-Summer Annual selection consists of more than 50 types of plants, each with multiple varieties.
Pansies, Violas and Ornamental Cabbage & Kale are Fall-Winter Annuals that prefer cooler weather and do not survive the Mid-South's Summer heat.
We grow Hardy Garden Mums for Fall color. They will grow year round in the Mid-South landscape, but may need maintenance for a Fall bloom-time.
We are the Grower!
Late February we begin growing Spring-Summer Annual Bedding Plants in over 2 acres of greenhouses. These are ready for sale after our last frost date of April 15th.
While this Spring color is headed to your landscape, we order hardy Chrysanthemum cuttings & plugs to plant mid-June. By late August we are planting Pansies & Ornamental Cabbage for Fall-Winter color. Our Fall Annuals are ready for your landscape by the end of September.
Since we grow our own Annual Bedding Plants, selection is limited, so by the middle of a season, we have sold most of our Annuals for that season.
